The SEEDIG 2018 meeting was attended by 121 participants, coming from a total of 27 countries: 16 countries that could be considered as part of South Eastern Europe and the neighbouring area (representing 87% of all participants), and 11 countries from beyond the region (13% of all participants).
The countries that were represented at SEEDIG 2018 and could be considered as part of South Eastern Europe and the neighbouring area are: Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Kosovo*, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovenia, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
All stakeholder groups were represented at the meeting.
In terms of gender representation, 51% of the participants were female and 49% male.
Other attendance statistics:
- Among all participants, 26% were youth.
- Newcomers represented 69% of all participants.
- SEEDIG’s capacity development programmes brought 12 Youth School participants, 14 fellows, and 3 interns at the meeting.
