About the event
The event will bring together Brussels-based representations and missions of countries in South Eastern Europe and the neighbouring area (SEE+), members of the European Parliament, Internet companies, business, technical and civil society associations working in the field of digital policy.
The debates will revolve around opportunities for enhanced cooperation among regional and international actors in creating a vibrant and sustainable Internet ecosystem in the SEE+ region. The event will additionally feature an overview of SEEDIG and its work, offering participants an opportunity to contribute to shaping the programme for the upcoming SEEDIG 5 meeting, to be held on 7-8 May 2019, in Bucharest, Romania.
Also included will be an outline of the digital policy priorities of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the EU, and a round-up of activities and priorities of several SEEDIG partners (e.g. European Commission, Internet Society, ICANN) in the SEE+ region.
