Mikhail has been working in the field of hosting, domain registration, and development of Internet addressing systems for more than ten years. He has held various positions in the largest Russian hosting providers and domain name registrars. In 2013, as part of the Foundation for Assistance to the Development of Internet Technologies and Infrastructure, he took part in the launch of the domain zones .МОСКВА and .MOSCOW. In 2014, he joined the Coordination Center for .RU/.РФ domains’ team, where he was involved in the press service, the program of industry events, and international projects. Mikhail was a member of various industry organisations. He has also been involved in organising specialised conferences and forums on domain registration, hosting, Internet infrastructure, Internet governance and cybersecurity. He also conducts educational and outreach work for students on the topic of infrastructure and user information security. In 2020, Mikhail joined the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Internet Addresses (ICANN), where he develops relationships with various stakeholders in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
