Announcement: SEEDIG 11

We are pleased to announce the 11th edition of the South Eastern European Dialogue on Internet Governance (SEEDIG 11), a regional forum that brings together stakeholders from government, civil society, academia, the private sector, and the technical community to engage in open and inclusive discussions on digital policy and internet governance.

For more than a decade, SEEDIG has served as a unique platform for dialogue in South Eastern Europe, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange on pressing issues such as:

  • Bridging the digital divide
  • Cybersecurity and resilience
  • Digital rights and freedoms
  • Emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things
  • Equal access to the internet and digital opportunities

Each annual meeting concludes with the adoption of SEEDIG Messages, a set of key takeaways and recommendations that reflect the voices of the regional community and aim to inform policymakers and stakeholders at both national and international levels.

SEEDIG 11 is most likely to take place on 13–14 November 2026. As in previous years, the event will be preceded by a Youth School (SEEDIG Youth School 26), serving as the “Day Zero” of the meeting. This initiative provides young professionals and students with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of internet governance and digital policy, while engaging directly with experts and peers from across the region.

The main program will feature panels, workshops, and interactive sessions designed to address current challenges and opportunities in the digital landscape of South Eastern Europe. A call for proposals for panel topics and discussions will be announced soon.
