Attend the SEEDIG2019 online planning meetings!

Between 1 October and 30 November 2018, as part of the joint EuroDIG-SEEDIG call for issues, Internet governance stakeholders were invited to propose issues for discussions at the EuroDIG and SEEDIG 2019 meetings.

In response to this call, we received a record number of 110 proposals for issues to be discussed at the SEEDIG 2019 meeting, scheduled to be held on 7–8 May 2019, in Bucharest. These issues were submitted by individuals from all stakeholder groups, and from different countries in South Eastern Europe and the neighbouring area.

The next step now is to discuss these proposals and start drafting a programme for the Ljubljana meeting. We will do this in two online planning meetings:

  • Monday, 17th December 2018 | 17:00 CET – Join the meeting
    • Meeting number (access code): 843 481 984
  • Tuesday, 18th December 2018 | 10:00 CET – Join the meeting
    • Meeting number (access code): 846 481 841

The two meetings will have the same agenda, and we kindly invite you to join the one that best fits your schedule. The meeting will be held via Webex; please visit our dedicated page with the meeting links, a draft agenda, and detailed instructions on how to join.

Not sure what this ‘planning process’ means? Consult the Session principles and the  Programme Guidelines.

Have you submitted a proposal for SEEDIG 2019? Are you a SEEDIG community member? Do you plan to join us for the Bucharest meeting in May? Are you interested in Internet governance issues? You’ve just come across this site and are curious to know what SEEDIG is about? If your answer is ‘yes’ to at least one of these questions, then join one of the two planning meetings.

We look forward to the discussions!
